4 5 Maxlight is a brand that has been consistently growing for over 14 years. However, our presence on the market is only a part of our experience. We come from the Krakow-based company Maxfliz, which for over 30 years has created extraordinary interiors using the best worldwide design. Last year surprised us all. The escalation of war in Ukraine was first a shock and then an attempt to organize ourselves wisely to support our Ukrainian colleagues and partners. Subsequent weeks brought new difficulties. The challenges we face are completely different from 3-4 years ago. This time is extremely demanding for business, but also difficult for individuals. It turns out that even with thirty years of business experience, we still need to be flexible and open to new solutions. However, years of experience provide us a very important value. It shapes good business intuition and knowledge that people count: our trusted partners and contractors, as well as an engaged team of employees, their attentiveness, and fresh look at emerging problems. During this demanding time, we are learning a lot about the market, business, and ourselves. We are aware that there are more uncertain months ahead. Therefore, last year was a time for us to research the market, develop plans, and chart a course for the next months and years. In the coming year, we are focusing on calm, but systematic development and mindful exploration of the designated directions. Each year we choose a theme around which we build a collection of lamps. In 2023 it is the culture and art of Japan, inspired by the Zen style and its variations. There are several different references in the Japanese collection. Some models draw on the art of origami and its geometric minimalism. Others allude to the zen-style garden, with its spare, refined form, unpretentious elegance and the delicate balance of stone sculptures. There are also those lamps in which one can see the influence of the Japanese love of objects with soul, heterogeneous and beautifully imperfect. They are a distant echo of the art of kintsugi, or the fusing of broken porcelain with gold. We hope the new collection will win your hearts, just as it has gained the admiration of the entire Maxlight team. As of 2023, we are still developing our own design department. We have enough experience to not only acquire the works of designers on the international market, but to undertake the creation of our own models. The first projects, made in 2018, were a challenge, but also showed us that we have a good feel for our customer’s needs and can meet them. Subsequent models created by Maxlight designers confirmed that we were on the right path. Looking at how the market is changing has given us a new perspective. We have always focused on furnishing private apartments and homes. We love good design and have aimed our products at the retail customer and the architect. In recent years, however, we have done some big business projects. We faced the challenge of working with a real-estate developers, and commercial investors, arranging space in an office building, art gallery, hotel, dormitory, beauty salon. It turned out that our many years of experience is a great asset, and Maxlight’s offer is also attractive to the business client. Working with aan investmentclient has broadened our perspectives into new areas. We have seen how much potential there is in technical lighting. Following this lead, we expanded our offer of lamps that combine excellent performance, small size, minimalist form and interesting design. Our suggestions and inspirations can be found in the Techno&Deco mini-catalog. A beautiful living space with excellent lighting design is still our most important goal and task, which we know like few others. Retail customers, and therefore also our Architects anPartners have always been and will continue to be the most important to us. That’s why we translate the experience we have gained fromworking with builders into thinking about beautiful functional lighting in the home. Another new direction we are setting for ourselves in the coming months is to enter foreign markets. Our team is ready for this, and the fixtures present excellent quality and interesting design. We have been participating in European design and lighting fairs for years. We know that the Maxlight brand can compete freely with European brands. Entering the international market is a challenge for us, but also a natural way of development. We are investing not only in new directions of development, but also in constant care for our regular customers and partners. We are improving our customer service management system to make contact with us even more efficient and effective. In these uncertain times, we are sure of only one thing: that there is nothing more valuable than trust and good cooperation.
